In the 2014 annual issue of Southern New England Home, writer Jaci Conry points out that many distinctive Cape Cod residences tend to be associated with ocean settings, yet the region contains many secluded lakefront homes as well. Nestled down a long, wooded drive on Cape Cod is this new construction home sited on one such lake. This open floor plan kitchen completed by our team at Classic Kitchens & Interiors boasts white cabinetry inset with beadboard panels for a cottage feel.

This Chatham guest house has everything a visitor might want—comfortable and unique living spaces and a dreamlike view. Classic Kitchens & Interiors worked with the architect and builder on the contemporary kitchenette and bathroom. In this renovation, the clients sought a more charming home suitable for contemporary living. The updated off-white cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances give a fresh new look to this slightly expanded kitchen.

Working with the home’s interior designer Kyle Timothy Blood, Classic Kitchens & Interiors designed the contemporary and transitional kitchen seen in the “A Place of Peace” article written by Laurel Kornhiser for Cape Cod Magazine. Though a farmhouse, the sea is acknowledged throughout this Cape Cod home, including in the kitchen where white and blue-gray colors were used.
