At Classic Kitchens & Interiors, we believe in the importance of environmental stewardship and are pleased to work with cabinet lines that also maintain a commitment to producing high quality cabinetry that shows care for the environment. As Wood-Mode writes, “Protecting the environment is not a new idea for Wood-Mode.” They have focused on this since their founding and have been certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) as meeting the standards for its Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP). Manufacturers who use environmentally-friendly materials and production processes are recognized through this program. Qualification for and maintenance of this certification comes through an annual evaluation and compliance in air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship, community relations, energy conservation and recycling programs.
